Behaviour and House Rules

I will encourage good manners and respect for each other, equipment, personal belongings and for my home. I will challenge remarks and behaviour that discriminate against gender, disability, size, race, language, culture and poverty.

I will be a positive role model in terms of conduct, language and attitude. I will praise children and help to develop their self esteem. I will never smack, manhandle or humiliate a child and will only physically move them from a situation where they are in danger or where another person is at risk.

I will discuss with the Parent/Carer what is acceptable behaviour and we will decide upon a strategy that manages unwanted behaviour.

My rules are only designed to keep children safe and happy.
