Currently,
this menu appears to be the most popular after
many attempts at introducing different meals
– I will re-introduce new foods regularly.
Raw vegetables such as Sweet Peppers, Carrots,
Cucumber & Tomato are always served either
as snacks or accompaniments. I use steamed vegetables
to make home made sauces such as; Courgette,
Brocolli, Carrots, Leek, Peas, Butternut Squash,
Onions, Aubergine, Swede, Mushrooms, Sweet Potatoes.
Meals will always have a variety of vegetables
with them or in the sauce. If children are still
hungry after their meal, I will offer fresh
fruit or Fromage Frais. Children
are offered filtered water with their meal.
In addition to the above, a snack of
vegetables or fresh fruit will be offered for
mid morning/afternoon snack.
I encourage children to drink plenty
of filtered water throughout the day.
