Child Protection Policy

As a childminder, I will be working very closely with your child. I am obliged within the Law to tell you that as part of the commitment to offering childcare, I am obliged to report any signs of abuse to the Child Protection Team.

The term abuse can take many forms, as a childminder, part of my training is to be able to notice the difference between every day bumps and bruises and frequent unexplained injuries.

Abuse takes many forms. Please do not think that I will run to the protection team every time your child has a bump or bruise. We all know how often children knock themselves during play.
